2.25-in Diam. Slitting Saw, 0.04-in Thick, 0.625-in ID, 56 teeth Alternate Tooth Chamfer, Double Concavity, 1.000-in Hub
Our precision ground 2.250" diameter solid carbide saws are best used for tougher materials like steel, stainless, and super alloys. These specially designed saws remove more material and take deeper depth of cuts than any other saws we make. The saw has twice the side clearance (Double Concavity) than typical carbide saws, and have a standard staggered tooth design (Alternate Tooth Chamfer) to help keep chips from packing. The K-Series saw is the highest performance saw available, and comes standard with a flat and parallel hub the same thickness as the cutting thickness. They have 56 teeth with a 5 degree rake angle, and a 0.625" inside diameter. The saws are ground with ultra-precision tolerances, with thickness held to +.0002"/-0.0000". Typical depth of cut per pass is about 2 times the saw thickness. The recommended maximum total depth of cut with a K22-20-56 using an
AB-625 saw arbor is 0.575". For more gripping force and a maximum depth of 0.538" (using a .050" clearance cushion), use an
NAB-625 saw arbor.
